libstring-dirify-perl software package provides utility converting string to a safe format, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libstring-dirify-perl
libstring-dirify-perl is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libstring-dirify-perl package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libstring-dirify-perl *
You will get with libstring-dirify-perl package name, version, architecture and description in a table
